Communities of BEing

I am a very disciplined person with extremely high ambitions.  I want to discipline myself to godliness (1 Timothy 4:7) for the purpose of changing cultures.   I’m not talking about a slight shift in thinking, I am looking for a radical change.

The change I dream of is that people develop and become who they are.  Their employment or self-employment is birthed from their strengths, talents, interests, and giftings – by their own and God’s direction, not like the movie “Divergent.”  I am not talking about people who are controlled, but rather, people who are FREE to BE.

This sweeping change will alter the behavior of people on a very innermost level.  People will no longer have to “claw their way to the top,” jealousy and competition can virtually be dismissed as we become consumed with developing our own skills, gifts, and talents.  Depression, lack of hope, feelings of not counting, or being second class, or any class for that matter, will dissipate.  Strong resilient communities will be formed as we not only recognize our strengths, but also our deficiencies, as this will necessitate the interaction and reliance on each other.

This is why my passion is helping people to discover and live their strengths and giftings, so they can BE who they are.  A better world can happen, one person at a time.
